The Uganda Nubi Elders Council supports educational and leadership development through strategic partnerships with educational institutions to offer scholarships and mentorship programs to young Nubis. These partnerships aim to reduce barriers to formal education and create guided pathways for academic growth and personal development. By linking youth with mentors and learning opportunities, UNEC fosters confidence, direction, and a sense of responsibility—laying the groundwork for the next generation of informed, principled leaders within the community.
In addition, UNEC provides vocational training for socio-economic empowerment, with a focus on trade skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. These initiatives equip individuals with practical, income-generating capabilities while promoting self-reliance and long-term stability. Through this dual emphasis on academic advancement and hands-on skill-building, UNEC upholds its core values of Empowerment and Service—ensuring that development is holistic, sustainable, and rooted in the real-world needs of the Nubi people.
